Almost everyone remembers this scene from B R Chopra's Mahabharat TV serial, where Duryodhan was visiting Indraprastha to attend Yudhishthir's Rajsuya yagya and decided to take a tour of Mayasabha built by Mayasur. He decided to take the tour on his own and was mesmerized by many illusions built there.
At one point he was unable to recognise the pool of water and ended up falling into it.
Now as per the TV serial Draupadi happened to witness this and laughed out loud proclaiming "andhe ka Putra Andha."
While what happened to Draupadi in Kuru Sabha cannot be justified by any logic, many see this incident to proclaim what happened in Kuru Sabha was Duryodhan's revenge.
This scene was a total fabrication or a creative liberty on the account of a TV serial because as per the book Draupadi was not even present when this incident happened. It was Bhima who laughed the hardest and was stopped by Yudhishthir. Please note that as per the book nobody made the comment, "Andhe ka Putra Andha."

What could have been a possible origin of this myth is, when Duryodhan tried to convince his father about “dice game conspiracy” against Yudhishthir, he narrated the above incident with more masala and said this.

However please note that even Duryodhan never mentioned being called “Andhe ka putra” while narrating that incident to Dhritarashtra.
